Falcon Finance

• Falcon Finance lets users deposit a wide range of digital and tokenised real-world assets as collateral to mint USDf, a dollar-pegged synthetic.

• Yield is generated through market-neutral strategies on the collateral rather than passed from reserve interest.

• FF is the governance token.

• Supply allocated across ecosystem, community and investors.

• Governs collateral eligibility and strategy parameters.

Pros:

• Accepts a broader collateral set than most synthetic dollar issuers, including tokenised real-world assets.

• Overcollateralisation is maintained above the minted supply.

• Yield strategies are diversified rather than dependent on a single funding source.

Cons:

• Broad collateral acceptance means the weakest accepted asset defines the tail risk.

• Market-neutral strategies still carry execution and exchange counterparty risk.

• Short operating history.

• Exposure to a synthetic dollar backed by a wide collateral base.

• Diversified yield rather than a single strategy.

• Assess which collateral is actually accepted, since that determines the real risk.

• Universal collateral acceptance, letting illiquid or unusual tokenised assets be converted into on-chain dollar liquidity.

• Most tokenised assets cannot be used as collateral anywhere, so their holders cannot access liquidity without selling.

• Accepting them as collateral unlocks that liquidity, at the cost of the issuer taking on their risk.

• Backed by DWF Labs and other ecosystem investors.

• Core contributor identities are only partially public.

• Falcon Finance held a public community sale for FF on Buidlpad in September 2025, alongside ecosystem and community distribution.

• Collateral quality varies widely and the protocol bears the difference.

• Market-neutral strategies rely on exchanges that can fail or restrict withdrawals.

• Peg maintenance is untested through a severe drawdown.

• Governance controls collateral eligibility, so risk can change by vote.
